Few Legal Professionals Using Or Planning To Use Generative AI So Far, LexisNexis Survey Finds

Legal professionals are not using or planning to use generative AI tools in their work, with only 2% of legal professionals who are aware of these tools saying they are using them daily, according to a survey by LexisNexis Legal & Professional, which polled 1,176 US lawyers and 1,239 law students. Meanwhile, of the consumers who responded that they were aware of generative AI tools, 32% say they are using them personally or professionally, with 48% saying they had used them for legal advice or assistance.
